Assistant Professor – Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City invites applications for a 9-month, benefit-eligible, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of physical, analytical, environmental, or materials chemistry to start August 2022. Priority may be given to research programs addressing large-scale data, computational analysis, and modeling. A Ph.D. in chemistry or an allied discipline is required. Successful candidates are expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program, to provide effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
